We have a whole range of drop in activities starting at 12 pm to 4pm. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Come and draw your own pet rock, badge making for children and several different drawing workshops. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All workshops shall be held in Grassmarket Square in Front of The Lot Cafe, unless raining. All ages with adults welcome. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Event One:&lt;br /&gt;Description:Drawing with Artist Maki Hamada&lt;br /&gt;- Maki practices intricate line drawings on canvas, using a selection of fine pens and small collage materials, work with Maki to create your own canvas of a forest scene. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Event Two:&lt;br /&gt;Description: Edinburgh City Forest &lt;br /&gt;- Darts shall be thrown at a giant map of Edinburgh City centre. We shall draw line connecting the dots. You will then be lead by an artists to ‘travel the lines’ and draw what you find at the dots. A very exciting way of discovering Edinburgh. &lt;br /&gt;12pm - 1.30pm &lt;br /&gt;2.30pm - 4pm&lt;br /&gt;Children must be accompanied by an adult.&lt;br /&gt;bring your own sketchbook and drawing materials&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Event Three:&lt;br /&gt;Description: Come and make BIG BIG drawings of the best view in Edinburgh, looking out from the Gallery's big glass window. Using artist Isabelle's favourite materials of wash, charcoal, oil sticks and inks, be prepared to create something BIG! Created by Gordon Brennan, John Brown and Jane Hyslop.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;'The Three of us met on the 4th of April 2007. We sat round the table and did 27 drawings connected with 'TRI'. An enjoyable but scary day was had by us all. There is nothing more frightening or beautiful than a sheet of white paper, especially if there are two people watching.
