Course information:
These courses focus on gorgeous spine work with single and multiple sections sewing at beginners through to advance level. The complex and very beautiful stitches add to your binding repertoire, building beautiful spines. Whether you choose traditional sewing styles or interpret the techniques with a more modern twist, you will learn a wealth of powerful and fun decorative possibilities.

Techniques will we cover:
You will learn complex stitching styles - Single Section Sewing, Celtic Weave and Greek sewing to create your own FULL Leather bound Venetian style journals.

By the end of this course you should be able to:
- make decorative sewing a part of your binding expression
- add visual drama to your one-of-a-kind books by incorporating the actual sewing of a book as part of its decoration
- use braided stitching, or use ribbons and leather tapes
